IND immigration documents
IND asks for documents that are not in Dutch, English, French or German to be translated into one of these languages, and accepts translations made abroad: “You can also have your document translated abroad. Usually, you need to have the document and the translation legalised.” Source: IND — translation and legalisation.
We translate the documents for residence and family reunification files — civil-status records, police certificates, divorce decrees and income documents — and arrange notarisation and an apostille on the translation when your application needs them.
A multilingual Turkish civil-status extract (Formül A/B/C) already contains English; ask the receiving authority whether it is enough on its own — if it is, you do not need a translation. For municipal registration in the BRP, a translation the municipality asks for must be made by a translator sworn under Dutch law (RvIG).
Court decisions and legal documents
Turkish divorce decrees and other court judgments are often needed in IND residence and family reunification files, and in international legal matters. We translate the full decision together with its finality annotation (kesinleşme şerhi), so the authority can see that the decision is final.
Long judgments and legal files are quoted after we see them. Dutch courts, lawyers and other bodies set their own document rules; check what the receiving body asks for, and we prepare the translation and any notarisation or apostille it needs.
KVK and business documents
For a foreign company or branch, KVK says: “The documents must be in Dutch, English, German, or French. If this is not the case, you must have the document translated.” KVK needs the translation and the original document, and documents from outside the EU must be legalised. Sources: KVK — foreign companies, Form 6.
We translate trade registry extracts, articles of association, board resolutions, signature circulars and commercial contracts into English. Long documents are quoted after review.
English or Dutch?
If your receiving authority accepts English, you may not need to pay for a Dutch translation. Turkish–Dutch sworn translation is a specialised language pair in the Netherlands; Turkish–English is the pair we translate every day.
Compare the full cost, not only the translation fee: where the translation alone is enough, the €25 / €35 tariff applies; where notarisation, an apostille or courier delivery is needed, these are added to your quote. Where a local Dutch sworn translation is required or simpler for your procedure, that is the better route.
Translation only, notarised, or with an apostille
- Translation only — sworn English translation, signed and stamped, delivered as a PDF: €25 or €35 per document. If the receiving authority accepts this, you need nothing more.
- Notarised translation — when the receiving authority or you require it: translation price plus the notary’s fee and our handling fee, in one written quote.
- Apostille arrangements — notarisation of the translation and the apostille on it, guidance or arrangement for the apostille on your Turkish source document, and courier delivery if needed: one total quote.
The apostille on your Turkish source document and the apostille on the notarised translation are separate certificates. Translating the source document’s apostille does not apostille the translation. We add these steps only when your procedure asks for them.
e-Apostille and getting documents from Türkiye
Turkish criminal record documents and court decisions can receive an electronic apostille (e-Apostil) through eapostil.gov.tr, also reachable via e-Devlet (Ministry of Justice); other documents receive a paper apostille. Many Turkish records, such as the criminal record and the civil registry extract, can be obtained online through e-Devlet even from abroad.
An e-Apostille on the source document is not an apostille on the translation, and it does not replace notarisation of the translation where that is required. The receiving Dutch authority decides whether it accepts digital documents.

Send your documents and the receiving authority ↗How much does a Turkish to English translation cost for the Netherlands?
A standard single-page document is €25 and an academic or official document €35. Up to 5 standard documents cost €110 and up to 10 cost €199. Does IND accept an English translation?
Yes. IND asks for documents that are not in Dutch, English, French or German to be translated into one of these languages. A translation made abroad is accepted; IND says that usually the document and the translation need to be legalised.
Can I use a sworn translator in Türkiye for my Dutch residence application?
Yes, IND accepts translations made abroad, usually with the document and the translation legalised. We translate, have the translation notarised and arrange the apostille on it in Türkiye when your application needs it, in one quote.
Do I need notarisation or an apostille?
Only if the receiving authority asks for it. If the translation alone is accepted, you pay only €25 or €35 per document. If notarisation or an apostille is needed, we include it in one written quote.
Is the apostille on my Turkish document enough for the translation?
No. The apostille on the source document and the apostille on a notarised translation are separate certificates. Translating the source document’s apostille does not apostille the translation.
Can you translate a Turkish divorce decree or court judgment for IND?
Yes. We translate the full decision with its finality annotation, for residence and family reunification files and other legal uses. Long judgments are quoted after review.
Does KVK accept company documents in English?
Yes. KVK asks for documents in Dutch, English, German or French; a document in another language must be translated, and KVK needs the translation and the original document. Documents from outside the EU must be legalised.
Is an English translation cheaper than a Dutch one?
If your receiving authority accepts English, you may not need to pay for a Dutch translation. Compare the full cost: with the translation alone our tariff is €25 or €35 per document; notarisation, an apostille or courier delivery are added only when required.
Are you registered as a sworn translator in the Netherlands?
No. Uğur Arı is a Turkish sworn translator whose oath is recorded at the Kartal 12th Notary Office in Istanbul. For a translation that a Dutch municipality asks for in BRP registration, use a translator sworn under Dutch law.
I live in Türkiye or outside the Netherlands. Can I order?
Yes. What matters is the authority that receives the document, not where you live. You can order online from Türkiye, the Netherlands or elsewhere.
How do I order and pay?
Send scans by WhatsApp or email and tell us where you will submit them; you get the exact price and scope, pay, and receive the signed PDF by email, with notarised originals by courier when needed. Payment is by international bank transfer to our IBAN or by Western Union where delivery to a bank account is available; cash is possible in person in Türkiye. Your written quote states the exact amount, the currency to send and the payment details; bank and Western Union fees are not included. Card, PayPal and Wise are not accepted.
Do you give legal or immigration advice?
No. We translate documents. Which documents you submit is for you, your adviser and the Dutch authority.
