Prices
Per single-page document, e.g. passport, ID card, birth record, driving licence, criminal record.
Per document, e.g. diploma, transcript, student certificate, certificate, equivalence certificate, marriage certificate.
Up to 5 standard documents (e.g. passport, ID, income document, bank statement, invitation). Four standard documents: 3.400 ₺ — you pay the lower amount.
Up to 10 documents for a study-abroad application (e.g. diploma, transcript, equivalence certificate, certificates, language certificate). If the per-document total is lower, you pay that.
Currency amounts are rounded estimates based on the TRY tariff. Your final quote is confirmed after document review. Foreign-currency figures are calculated from the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye buying rate of 9 October 2026 (NZD: ECB cross rate) and rounded up to .99.
- Long or dense documents, multi-page transcripts, court decisions (including divorce decrees): written quote after review.
- Notarisation or apostille, only if your authority asks for it: official fees at cost plus a written handling quote.
- Paper documents by courier: actual courier cost, paid by the recipient.
One Turkish lira price basis, wherever you order from. The same sworn translation has the same price whether you order from Sweden or from Türkiye; we do not set a separate base price by country. Prices are based on our Turkish lira tariff. Foreign-currency figures are approximate, rounded indications. The final payable amount and any transfer charges are confirmed in your quote.
Packages: For eligible documents, the sum of the per-document prices is compared with the applicable package price; you pay the lower amount. For example, four standard documents are 3.400 ₺ (≈ 692.99 SEK) and five standard documents 3.499 ₺ (≈ 712.99 SEK) instead of 4.250 ₺.
- Can I order at the Turkish lira price from Sweden? Yes. Your quote uses the same Turkish lira tariff as for clients in Türkiye; the SEK figures are only a guide.
- Is the SEK amount a separate international price? No. It is the Turkish lira price converted at a recent official exchange rate and rounded up to .99.
- Which currency do I pay in? Your written quote states the exact amount, the currency to send and the payment details; bank and Western Union charges are not included.
- Are notarisation, apostille and delivery included? No. They are added only when your procedure needs them, and listed separately in your quote.
Foreign-currency figures are calculated from the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye buying rate of 9 October 2026 (NZD: ECB cross rate) and rounded up to .99.
Each price includes the certified English translation, signed and stamped by hand, delivered as a PDF. Notarisation, apostilles, official fees and courier delivery are not included.

- Certified PDF. Signed and stamped by the sworn translator, sent by email or WhatsApp; short standard documents within 24 hours.
- Signed paper copy. Sent by courier on request; the courier cost is paid by the recipient.
- Notarisation or apostille. Only if your receiving authority asks for it; official fees at cost plus a written handling quote.
For applications through universityadmissions.se, the Turkey instructions ask you to upload your documents in the original language together with an official translation, which must be “completed, signed and stamped by a translation company or a person who works as a translator”. Accepted languages for translations are Swedish and English. The instructions do not ask for the translation to be notarised or apostilled, and do not require a Swedish authorised translator.
You may not need a translation. For upper-secondary documents, University Admissions states: “If your school can issue your documents in English, these alone are usually accepted.” For bachelor’s and master’s degrees, academic documents issued in English by the university can be accepted if the degree title is clearly stated, and a Diploma Supplement can be submitted in place of an academic transcript. Ask your university’s student affairs office (öğrenci işleri) first.
If you do need a translation, we translate your diploma, transcript or graduation certificate into English, sign and stamp every page by hand, and send a colour PDF scan for upload; the paper translation is posted on request. These rules apply to University Admissions in Sweden; a university’s own procedures, or other application routes, may differ. Sources: Turkey — bachelor’s level, Turkey — master’s level.
Diploma: 1.150 ₺ (≈ 234.99 SEK). Diploma and one-page transcript: 2.300 ₺ (≈ 468.99 SEK). Multi-page transcripts are quoted after review. Diploma and transcript translation.

Certified translation requirements can vary by document and receiving authority. Send your document via WhatsApp, speak directly with a sworn translator, and receive a written quote covering the translation, any required certification and delivery options before making payment.
- Send your document. A photo or PDF by WhatsApp, and tell us where it will be used.
- The sworn translator reviews it. The document, its language pair, the purpose and the service you need — including whether notarisation, an apostille, a signed paper copy or international delivery is needed.
- You receive a written quote. Translation, any required certification, delivery and turnaround, before you pay.
- Work starts after you accept. Translation begins once you accept the quote and the agreed payment is completed.
No upfront payment is required to request a quote. We cannot guarantee that a foreign authority will accept a document; where its requirements are unclear, we tell you to confirm them with the receiving authority before you pay.
After you accept the quote, payment is by bank transfer to our IBAN, or by Western Union where delivery to a bank account is available from your location; cash is possible in person in Türkiye. Card payment is not currently offered.

Migrationsverket: family and work applications
Migrationsverket states: “All submitted documents should be in Swedish or English. If you have translated your documents, the translation should be certified. You must also include a copy of the document in its original language.” For applicants in Türkiye, the Swedish Embassy’s checklist says documents issued by the authorities in your country “must be translated into Swedish or English by an authorised translator”, and you show the originals at your appointment.
Neither text defines “certified” or “authorised”, and neither says that a sworn translator in Türkiye is automatically accepted or excluded. Migrationsverket decides on each application. Before you pay, we ask for your permit type, the documents on your checklist and any translator, notarisation or apostille requirement in it, so that you do not buy something your application cannot use.
| Application | Turkish documents we translate into English |
|---|---|
| Family ties (spouse, partner, children) | Marriage certificate, birth certificate, population register extract (nüfus kayıt örneği), divorce decree |
| Work permits | Employment letters, work experience letters, diplomas |

Send your documents and permit type ↗UHR and Socialstyrelsen: conditions first
UHR (recognition of foreign education). Translations must be made by an authorised translator. UHR’s FAQ adds: “You can also translate your documents in the country where you completed your education, provided that the translation is done by an authorized translator, preferably in English.” Whether a Turkish sworn translator counts as an authorised translator for UHR is not stated, so we cannot promise acceptance; tell us your UHR application and we discuss it with you before you order. Documents already in English need no translation, and if you are registered with Arbetsförmedlingen, UHR says your documents can be translated at their expense.
Socialstyrelsen (licence for health professions). In its guidance on having your education assessed, Socialstyrelsen states: “Translation means that a certified translator translates your documents to Swedish or English” and “The translation can be done in any country.” Rules differ by profession; check yours. Long transcripts and course descriptions are quoted after review.
English or Swedish?
English is enough wherever the receiving authority accepts it — for example University Admissions, Migrationsverket and Socialstyrelsen as quoted above. If your authority or court requires Swedish, you need a Swedish authorised translator; find one in the Kammarkollegiet register. We translate into English only.
Skatteverket. For registering a marriage, birth or divorce in the Swedish Population Register, we could not find Skatteverket’s rules on translation language or translator. Ask Skatteverket before ordering; we do not promise acceptance for these cases.
Multilingual Turkish extracts (Formül A/B). Sweden is not a party to the convention on multilingual civil-status extracts (CIEC No. 16), so they are not automatically exempt from translation in Sweden. Ask your receiving authority whether it accepts them as issued. Source: CIEC Convention No. 16.
What our certified translation contains
- A complete English translation of the document, including stamps, annotations and the finality note of court decisions.
- The translator’s certification statement, name, signature and stamp, applied by hand on paper, the date and our contact details.
- A colour PDF scan of the signed and stamped translation; the paper original by courier when your procedure needs it.
Notarisation and apostille
The University Admissions, Migrationsverket and Socialstyrelsen instructions quoted on this page do not ask for a notarised or apostilled translation. If your authority does, we arrange Turkish notarisation of the translation and, if required, the apostille. Your written quote lists the translation fee, the official notary or apostille fees at cost, our handling fee and courier delivery separately.
An apostille on your Turkish source document and an apostille on the translation are two different certificates. A Turkish criminal record or court decision can receive an e-Apostil online (Ministry of Justice).
Who you are dealing with
The translator. İngilizce Yeminli Çeviri is run by Uğur Arı, a sworn translator whose oath is recorded at the Kartal 12th Notary Office in Istanbul. We work from Tuzla, Istanbul, Türkiye, and serve clients in Sweden online; we have no office in Sweden. Profile: LinkedIn.
Google reviews. Our Google Business Profile, “İngilizce Yeminli Çeviri”, has 6 reviews with an average rating of 5.0 (checked 12 October 2026). None of them is from a client in Sweden yet. One recent review, translated from Turkish by Google: “I needed my diploma and transcript translated. Communicating via WhatsApp was very easy. They handled the notary procedures and sent them immediately by courier.” (Turan K., Google) Read all reviews on Google.
What we are not. We are not Swedish authorised translators (Kammarkollegiet authorises translators only between Swedish and other languages), and we do not translate into Swedish.
Ask a question before you order ↗How to order
Everything is done online, whether you live in Sweden, in Türkiye or elsewhere.
- Step 1 — Send your documents. A PDF or a clear photo of each Turkish document by WhatsApp or email ([email protected]).
- Step 2 — Tell us the receiving authority. University Admissions, Migrationsverket (and the permit type), UHR, Socialstyrelsen, or something else.
- Step 3 — Get one written quote. The translation fee, any official fees (notary, apostille), any handling fee and courier delivery are listed separately. If English or a translation made in Türkiye does not fit your procedure, we tell you before you pay.
- Step 4 — Receive the translation. The signed and stamped translation as a PDF; standard documents within 24 hours, longer documents with the turnaround in your quote. Paper originals by courier on request (the recipient pays the courier).
Payment is by international bank transfer to our IBAN or by Western Union where delivery to a bank account is available from your location; cash is possible in person in Türkiye. Your written quote states the exact amount, the currency to send and the payment details; bank and Western Union fees are not included, and work starts once the payment reaches our account. Card, PayPal, Wise and Swish are not accepted.
Can I use a sworn translator in Türkiye for Sweden?
It depends on the authority. University Admissions in Sweden accepts translations completed, signed and stamped by a translation company or a person who works as a translator. Socialstyrelsen states that the translation can be done in any country. Migrationsverket asks for certified translations into Swedish or English, and UHR accepts an authorised translator in the country of education; neither defines whether a Turkish sworn translator qualifies, so we check your procedure before you pay.
Do I need Turkish to Swedish, or is English accepted?
University Admissions, Migrationsverket and Socialstyrelsen accept English translations. Where an authority or court requires Swedish, you need a Swedish authorised translator; we translate into English only.
How much do four documents cost?
Four eligible standard single-page documents cost 3.400 ₺ (≈ 692.99 SEK) (4 × 850 ₺), because that is lower than the 3.499 ₺ package — the same amount as for clients in Türkiye. If the documents are of different classes, each is priced by its class (academic or official documents 1.150 ₺ (≈ 234.99 SEK)) and the lower of that total and any applicable package applies. Long or dense documents get a written quote.
Can you translate my Turkish diploma for University Admissions in Sweden?
Yes. The diploma is 1.150 ₺ (≈ 234.99 SEK); we sign and stamp every page by hand and send a colour PDF for upload. First check whether your university can issue the diploma in English or a Diploma Supplement, which may make a translation unnecessary.
Can you translate my Turkish transcript?
Yes. A one-page transcript is 1.150 ₺ (≈ 234.99 SEK), or 2.300 ₺ (≈ 468.99 SEK) together with the diploma; multi-page transcripts are quoted after we see them.
Do you translate documents for Migrationsverket?
Yes, into English: marriage and birth certificates, population register extracts, divorce decrees and work documents. Migrationsverket asks for certified translations; acceptance is decided by Migrationsverket, and we check your checklist with you before you pay.
How much is a Turkish divorce decree translation?
Divorce decrees are quoted in writing after we see the document, with the turnaround.
Do I need notarisation or an apostille?
The University Admissions, Migrationsverket and Socialstyrelsen instructions quoted on this page do not ask for it, but your authority or checklist decides. If yours asks for it, we arrange it and list the official fees and our handling fee separately in the written quote.
How do I pay from Sweden?
By international bank transfer to our IBAN, or by Western Union where delivery to a bank account is available. The written quote states the exact amount and the currency to send; the SEK figures on this page are approximate. Card, PayPal, Wise and Swish are not accepted.
How fast will I receive the translation?
Standard documents are delivered as a PDF within 24 hours of payment. Long or dense documents get their turnaround in the written quote. Paper documents are sent by courier on request.
