Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of ingilizceyeminliceviri.com and to the sworn translation services requested through it. By using the site or sending us a document you accept these terms. Processing of personal data is covered by our Data Protection Notice and Privacy Policy.

1. Who Provides the Service

2. Scope of Service

• Turkish ↔ English translation of official documents, with the sworn translator's declaration and signature.
• On request, planning and follow-up of notarisation and apostille procedures.
• Notarisation, apostille and consular procedures are third-party procedures; their fees are set by the relevant notary office or authority and are not included in the translation fee.
• Guide content on this site is general information, not legal, tax or immigration advice.

3. Quotes, Prices and Payment

• The final price and delivery time are confirmed in writing after we review a photo or PDF of your document. List prices published on the site are dated and may be updated (see pricing).
• A written quote is valid for the period stated in the quote message.
• No upfront payment is required before the translation is started. Once the translation is completed, a watermarked preview of the work is shared with you. The final, watermark-free translation is delivered after the agreed service fee has been paid and payment has been confirmed. Payments can be made by credit or debit card, bank transfer or Western Union. Cash payment is also available for in-person transactions in Türkiye. Available payment methods and payment instructions are communicated during the quotation or ordering process. International transfers depend on the sending bank. Western Union payments are made to our bank account where bank-account delivery is available from your country. The MTCN alone is not proof of payment; payment is considered confirmed once the funds reach our bank account. Transfer fees and payment instructions are specified in the quotation. PayPal and Wise are not currently supported.
• Notary fees and apostille charges, if any, are payable separately.
• Physical shipping is arranged only on request; courier costs are paid by the recipient. The recipient may choose the courier, and delivery depends on the routes and terms of that courier.

4. Your Responsibilities

• Send legible, complete documents; we may ask for a new image if a page cannot be read.
• You confirm that you are legally entitled to submit the document for translation.
• Tell us the spelling of names, institutions and places as they appear in your passport or official records; if no preference is given, we follow the spelling on the document.
• Tell us any specific requirements of the receiving institution (number of copies, wet signature, apostille) before work starts.

5. Delivery and Corrections

• Standard delivery is digital (PDF). Wet-signed hard copies or shipping, if required, are stated separately in the quote.
• Preparation and delivery times are subject to the terms communicated for the specific documents; the final document is delivered after payment is confirmed. Notary and apostille steps depend on the working hours of the relevant authorities.
• The watermarked preview is shared so that you can review the completed translation. It does not replace the final translation and is not prepared for submission in official applications or to third parties as a final document. The delivery copy bearing the required signature, stamp and translator’s statement is shared after payment is confirmed.
• Spelling, name or number errors caused by the translation are corrected free of charge. Please report any error you notice after delivery.
• Errors in the source document itself, content changed afterwards, or new requests made after work has started are quoted as separate work.

6. Cancellation

A translation is prepared specifically for you at your request. For orders placed at a distance by a consumer, the 14-day right of withdrawal under the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation (Mesafeli Sözleşmeler Yönetmeliği) applies, together with the conditions and exceptions set out in that Regulation. One of these exceptions covers services whose performance has begun, with the consumer’s approval, before the withdrawal period ends; this exception applies only if that approval was given and its effect on the right of withdrawal was explained beforehand. For cancellations outside the right of withdrawal, no fee is charged for cancellations received before work starts; if you cancel after translation has begun, the portion completed up to that point may be charged. If payment is not confirmed after the preview has been shared, the final, watermark-free document is not delivered. Fees already paid to a notary office or apostille authority are non-refundable. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

7. Limitation of Liability

• We are responsible for the translation being accurate and faithful to the source document.
• Whether the receiving institution (consulate, university, court, employer, immigration authority) accepts the translation is governed by that institution's own rules; acceptance cannot be guaranteed.
• We are not responsible for the processing times or changing practices of notary offices, apostille authorities, courier companies or public institutions.
• Our liability is in all cases limited to the translation fee paid for the work concerned and does not cover indirect losses (visa refusal, application delay, loss of profit).

8. Confidentiality

Your documents are processed only to provide the translation service and to meet legal obligations; they are never sold or shared for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Notice.

9. Site Content and Intellectual Property

The text, guides and images on this site belong to Sworn English Translation (ingilizceyeminliceviri.com). You may quote them with attribution, but may not copy or republish them in full without permission. Crawling the site with automated tools in a way that creates excessive load, attempting to disrupt the service, or submitting misleading content is not permitted.

10. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page; the "last updated" date at the top applies. Work already approved remains subject to the terms in force on the date it started.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Turkish law. The Courts and Enforcement Offices of İstanbul Anadolu have jurisdiction. Customers acting as consumers retain their right to apply to Turkish Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts.
