Send the set together and you get one written quote: up to 5 standard documents are €95. Criminal record translation · Financial and company documents.

Family reunification documents

For visa purposes, ISD asks that state-issued documents such as birth, marriage, death and divorce certificates from outside the EEA or Switzerland are attested or apostilled, and adds: “Translations done outside the EEA or Switzerland must also be attested/apostilled as genuine, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country in which the translation occurs.”

For these documents we prepare the certified translation, have it notarised in Türkiye and arrange the apostille on the translation, in one total quote. The apostille on your Turkish certificate and the apostille on the translation are two separate certificates. Birth certificate · Marriage certificate.

Citizenship applications

For citizenship (naturalisation) applications, documents not in English or Irish need a certified translation. The ISD citizenship guidance we checked does not list the extra apostille-on-translation step that applies to civil-status documents in visa applications; follow the instructions for your own application.

Turkish divorce decrees

A Turkish divorce decree is translated in full together with its finality annotation (kesinleşme şerhi), which shows the decision is final. For an Irish visa or family application, the translation-apostille rule above applies. For a marriage in Ireland, the civil registration service asks you to contact the Registrar about a foreign divorce, so we follow the Registrar’s instructions.

Translations for Irish court proceedings can require a translator’s affidavit or statement of truth; tell us if your document is for a court, and we confirm before you pay whether we can provide what is needed. Court decision and divorce decree translation.

What a certified translation for ISD contains

ISD describes a certified translation as one signed and dated by a recognised person or organisation, with the translator writing “Certified to be true copy/translation of the original seen by me”, signing and dating it, printing their name, and adding their occupation, address and telephone number.

For Irish applications our translation carries this certification wording, the translator’s signature and stamp, the date, his printed name, his occupation as a sworn translator registered at the Kartal 12th Notary Office, and our address, telephone and email. ISD decides whether a document is accepted. Source: ISD — how to make a certified translation.

When notarisation or an apostille is needed

  • Certified translation only — for most visa supporting documents (bank statements, employment and income documents, criminal records): the euro tariff applies.
  • Notarised translation with an apostille — for birth, marriage, death and divorce certificates in visa and family applications: the translation is notarised in Türkiye and the apostille on it is issued by the Turkish competent authority (a governorship or district governorship); total written quote.
  • Source-document apostille — a Turkish criminal record or court decision can receive an e-Apostil through eapostil.gov.tr (Ministry of Justice); other documents receive a paper apostille.

ISD’s wording refers to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the translation is made. In Türkiye the Hague apostille on a notarised translation is issued by a governorship or district governorship; we have not seen an ISD statement that addresses the Turkish route specifically, so if your application is time-critical, confirm with ISD or the Embassy of Ireland in Türkiye.

Common questions
Can a certified translator in Turkey prepare documents for Irish immigration?

ISD says a translator or translation company with an established professional reputation may make certified translations, and it does not ask for a translator in Ireland. Our translator is a Turkish sworn translator registered at the Kartal 12th Notary Office. For birth, marriage, death and divorce certificates in visa applications, a translation made outside the EEA must also be apostilled. ISD decides acceptance.

Does Ireland accept sworn translations made in Turkey?

ISD accepts certified translations that meet its description: certification wording, signature, date, printed name, occupation, address and telephone number. Acceptance is not automatic and is decided by ISD; civil-status certificates in visa applications also need an apostille on the translation.

Where can I order certified Turkish translations for Ireland?

Here, online: send a photo or PDF of your documents by WhatsApp or email, say which application they are for, and you get a written quote in euro. After payment the certified translation is emailed as a PDF; notarised originals are sent by courier when needed.

Can you translate my Turkish bank statement for an Irish visa?

Yes. Bank statements are certified translations priced per page: a single page is €22, and several pages or documents together are quoted as a set (up to 5 standard pages or documents for €95).

Can you translate my Turkish criminal record for Ireland?

Yes, for €22 as a standard single-page document. A Turkish criminal record can also receive an e-Apostil online through e-Devlet if your application asks for an apostille on the source document.

Which documents do I need translated for Irish family reunification?

Usually civil-status documents such as birth and marriage certificates, the nüfus kayıt örneği and, if relevant, a divorce decree. For visa purposes these translations are notarised and apostilled in Türkiye; we quote the whole set in one total price.

Can you translate a Turkish divorce decree for Irish immigration?

Yes, from €45 with a written quote for your document. We translate the decision with its finality annotation, and for visa applications we arrange notarisation and the apostille on the translation.

Do Turkish certified translations for Ireland need notarisation or an apostille?

Not for most visa supporting documents. For birth, marriage, death and divorce certificates in visa applications, ISD asks for the translation made outside the EEA to be attested or apostilled too; in Türkiye the apostille on a notarised translation is issued by a governorship or district governorship.

How much does certified Turkish to English translation cost for Ireland?

A standard single-page document is €22, an academic or official document €32, two standard documents €42, up to 5 standard documents €95 and up to 10 €179. Divorce decrees start at €45; notarisation, an apostille and courier delivery are quoted separately.
